Community Living month is an annual awareness campaign that recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of the community living movement during the month of May.
CALLING ALL STUDENTS ages 7-13 to participate in a collaborative art piece that will be used in our 2023 Community Living month campaign. It’s easy! All students need to do is draw, paint and create on a 8.5 X 8.5 piece of paper of what inclusion means to them. Each piece of 8.5 X 8.5 art will be used to create a larger piece of art. All entries can be dropped off at Community Living – Central Huron, Community Living South Huron or Community Living Wingham & District by April 21!
Aim: to create a piece of art that symbolizes an inclusive community completed by students in Huron County.
To promote social innovation and the inclusion of everyone.
To promote May, Community Living Month which is a province-wide annual awareness campaign to recognize the accomplishments of the Community Living movement.
To encourage youth through the creation of a collaborative art piece where belonging and inclusion is at the fore front.
