Huron Respite Network, Community Support for Families, and Community Participation Supports, programs of Community Living-Central Huron, are seeking self-employed contract workers to support adults and children with developmental and/or physical disabilities, and/or mental health concerns. There are ongoing contracts available for self-employed contract workers chosen by families and individuals to support skill-building, independence, and developing connections in the community, as well as providing respite to caregivers. You will be working closely with adults and/or Parents/Guardians to determine routines and goals for the individuals supported. Requirements:
At least 18 years of age
Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
Clear Children’s Aid Society Check
Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License
$2 Million of Liability Insurance on Auto Policy
First Aid and CPR preferred
Related diploma or degree is considered an asset
Become a Direct Support Provider
