Supported Independent Living (S.I.L.) provides periodic support for people who live on their own. Support will typically be provided by one experienced S.I.L. Support Worker who will assist the person to achieve their personal goals and dreams.
Note: Support is not typically provided daily.
Adult Services provides a variety of supports for adults (18 years of age or older) with developmental disabilities who reside in the Central Huron area. There are no fees for any of the above services. However, a purchase of service may occur for eligible people to create service capacity and availability. All requests for Adult Services must go through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) at 1-855-437-6797 or access information on the DSO website.
